Recently I have started a parenting course for the obvious reason that parenting can be so challenging (but wonderful too)! I felt i needed to be more informed as a mother, as sometimes I would question myself; am I doing the right thing here? My plan is to write a check list to look at every morning that will cement in my head key ways to best approach the day with my kids. It should give me focus!
I have lots of ideas for sketches to illustrate certain key skills we have been given in the course. I also love those scenarios that we all have with our kids that are completely head wrecking, but have a real humorous side to them too.I really want to capture these also and show the funny side of parenting!
This is one way of overlapping my role as a ‘mother’ with that of an ‘artist’ and maybe the sketches might help other parents or even unite us. I’d love to think so.
