Adult sewing workshop

This workshop is full. 

50euro deposit per booking is needed to secure a place.

Workshop fee 100 euros

Balance to be paid on day of workshop.

This workshop is idea for complete beginners, those who haven’t touched a machine since school or want to brush up on their sewing skills.

I will show you how to thread and prepare your machine, how to stitch including seam allowance and securing stitch and trouble shooting techniques.

You will take home these skills and a complete cushion cover and if we’re flying it, a tote bag too!

The day starts at 10am (or 9.30 if you’d like to ease in with a cuppa!) and ends at 4pm. All you need to bring on the day is a packed lunch,  your machine (if you have one) and fabric.

It is a relaxed creative day, with like minded people where you’ll bring home a very practical, useful skill.

It will be held in my studio in Ogonnelloe in East Clare, 10 minutes from Killaloe, 1 hour from Galway, 35mins from Limerick.

***IMPORTANT ***

 If you plan to bring your own machine please make sure your machine is working. If you aren’t familiar with your machine please bring to a sewing centre for a service. It avoids any disappointment on the day if a machine won’t work. I’m not a technician and can’t fix machines. The workshop is purely to learn how to use a working machine.

 I can provide a machine free of charge on the day if given notice. 

Cancellations;

Refunds are not offered on deposits made.However, deposit can be forwarded to a future workshop. Full amount of workshop fee is required if booking is canceled within 7 days of workshop.
